We are living in extraordinary and unprecedented times as the country acts to mitigate the impact of the corona virus. I am writing to update you on the operating arrangements that the University of Sunderland’s Uni4Talent agency is implementing during this difficult period:
• In line with government advice, the Uni4Talent team will implement remote working from today (19th March 2020). The team has full access to the systems required for normal business operation.
• The Uni4Talent team can be contacted using their personal email accounts, or via firstname.lastname@example.org should you have any queries or concerns.
• If you would like to speak to a member of staff directly, please send an email to email@example.com, leaving your name and number and one of the team will call you back as soon as they are available.
We request that host Employers, Interns and Agency workers contact us if there are any changes to their working protocols – this includes any arrangements for Interns or Agency workers to work remotely, any sickness absences, business closures or lock-downs etc.
We would also like to remind Interns and Agency workers that in the event of sickness absence, you will be entitled to statutory sick pay.
We will continue to monitor the situation very closely and provide updates as needed to ensure that we are doing everything we can for our customers and employees.
