This is a full-time role, split 50:50 between MTC Training and the University of Sunderland’s E&I Events run by Hope Street Exchange.
MTC Training is one of a number of successful commercial enterprises formed by the University of Sunderland, whose core object is to serve the North East region as a leading provider of accredited IT training and apprenticeships, forming strategic partnerships and supporting customer development plans to continually fuel growth and success.
Hope Street Xchange is the University of Sunderland’s dedicated Centre for Enterprise & Innovation. A vibrant hub of innovative and creative entrepreneurs, start-ups and SMEs, it offers state-of-the-art office space and exists to support small businesses to grow and develop. The home of Sunderland Business Partnership and part of The North East Local Enterprise Partnership, Hope Street Xchange is at the heart of Sunderland’s business community.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented customer service and marketing professional to join the University of Sunderland’s Enterprise and Innovation Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maximising the effectiveness of the MTC Training organisation through effective Marketing practices, producing high quality leads and working as a team towards agreed set targets and profitability goals. They will also be tasked with providing a high level of sales support, ensuring all queries are responded to in an efficient, professional and timely manner.
Likewise, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing a range of engaging social media marketing activity across the Hope Street Xchange, St Peter’s Gate and Venue Sunderland platforms; being further required to occasionally undertake reception cover where necessary.
